BYE TO 2025




With you, 2025 has been memorable. Yes, you were a source of inspiration through all your actions and inactions. Yes, I am more exposed to life evolutions and revelations.

As the year 2025 winds up today, my heart is filled with gratitude. 

I sincerely appreciate my friends, family, and all my well wishers who stood by me through thicks and thins. Your prayers, support, knocks, denials, advice, and encouragement made the journey meaningful and interesting.

To those who doubted me, challenged me, or even misunderstood my positions at different circumstances, I thank you for bringing out the best in me.  You taught me resilience, self reflection, and the importance of staying true to myself. 
Every experience, good or bad, played a role in shaping who I am throughout 2025.

I also want to seek your forgiveness in whichever way my actions or inactions may have offended you.

INEC’s Incapacity To Determine The Leadership Of Labour Party In The Face Of The Supreme Court Judgement

  The battle of the various factions in the Labour Party rose to a crescendo after the Supreme Court judgement of April 4th, 2025. The judgement, which unambiguously sent parties to their house to decide their fate, has been variously misconstrued, misinterpreted, and misrepresented. The judgement has been erroneously interpreted to suit the various positions that the factions hold. While it’s common to see parties on a matter take different and often opposing stand, the position of some of these people in the factions is clearly a function of ignorance of the facts of the judgement and the electoral law guiding the relationship of INEC with political parties. Resolutions Reached At The National Executive Council (NEC) Meeting Held On 02/05/2025 At The LP National Headquarters.

  NEC Confirmed its directive for the issuance of NOTICE of the 2024 National Convention of the Party which NOTICE was given to INEC on 04/12/2023. NEC equally confirmed its directive for subsequent Notices of change of date and venue for the 2024 National Convention which held at Nnewi on 27/03/2024. NEC confirmed its ratification of the list of ADHOC delegates, elected from the Congresses in the 36 states and the FCT, to the 2024 National Convention which ratification was granted at the NEC meeting which held in Asaba on 20/03/2024. NEC confirmed that the 2024 National Convention was held in accordance with the CFRN, 1999, the Electoral Act, 2022, the 2019 LP Constitution, INEC Regulations and Guidelines for Political Parties, 2022 and the LP Guidelines for the 2024 National Convention.
