Verydarkblackman Disagreeing with Senator Natasha H Akpoti is legitimate, but reducing her public service to public ridicule on social media does not help Nigerians. Sen Natasha is a democratically elected senator, while #VDM is a self-serving activist without a verifiable source of income.   Sen Natasha's performance should be judged by her legislative work, public advocacy, and accountability to her constituents, which has stood out undoubtedly. If there are allegations against her, they should be backed by credible evidence and handled through the appropriate institutions—not by trial of #VDM on social media. Labour Party Crisis: Confusion in the camp of Nenadi Usman's Caretaker Committee as INEC rejects the dissolution of State Exco loyal to Abure

  The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has told the Senator Nenadi Usman led Caretaker Committee of the Labour Party that it lacks the powers to dissolve the existing Ward, Local Government and State executives of the party and to replace them with interim executives.  A news leak from Nenadi Usman's office in Abuja and made available to newsmen has it that the Caretaker Committee has been rattled by the development since receiving this response last two weeks, to an earlier request made to the Commission.  The Caretaker Committee is at a loss on how to cross this bridge knowing that the majority of the party's National Executive Committee (NEC) including the state chairmen and their secretaries are still loyal to the National Chairman of the party, Barrister Julius Abure.
